            The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been a worldwide human catastrophe and economic disaster. To reduce virus morbidity and mortality, governments have implemented lockdown measures, halted international transport, and enforced other public containment measures. With the number of people contracting the virus steadily growing, more than simple medical treatments would be needed to mitigate the pandemic's effects.                The Battle of Bataan, also known as the Fall of Bataan, was chosen as the Day of Valor or Araw ng Kagitingan to honor and remember the thousands of Filipinos who sacrificed their lives to liberate the nation during World War II. Every year on or around April 9th, it is commemorated in the Philippines.             The soldiers were held captive and forced to walk the notorious 140-kilometer Bataan Death March to Camp O'Donnell in Capas, Tarlac. Thousands died as a result of starvation, heat prostration, untreated wounds, and indiscriminate or execution-style murder. Just 54,000 of the 76,000 inmates are thought to have made it to Camp O'Donnell, according to historians.               Lent is the period of 40 days that comes before Easter in the Christian calendar. Beginning on Ash Wednesday, Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. By observing the 40 days of Lent, Christians replicate Jesus Christ's sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days. Lent is marked by fasting, both from food and festivities.             We couldn't go out and do our religious traditions during this Lenten Season, which was a bit upsetting. We were unable to participate in traditional activities such as waving the palaspas, Visita Iglesia, and so on, but we were able to attend an online mass and pray the Holy Rosary kudos to technology. A woman is said to be God's most beautiful creation!   It's a day when women are recognized and praised for their contributions in a variety of fields. Women have a strong spirit that allows them to succeed in their chosen fields. They make a significant contribution to the lives of their family members and the country as a whole.             For many people, a woman's role is limited to household chores only. This, however, must change because women, like men, deserve equal freedom and opportunities in all fields. The world is heading in the direction of gender equality.                  Another quarter has passed, and new knowledge has been gained once more. We did blogging in the first quarter of ICT. As a first-time blogger, this experience helped me to make a lot of progress in analyzing the given topic. We still have the opportunity to blog in the second quarter, and I'm continuing to improve and gaining interest.             Apart from blogging, we tackled how to create websites using HTML and various ways to edit the website's features using different pairs of tags, which I would claim is difficult if you don't analyze it thoroughly. Especially on the various tags that can be very confusing at times. But as the weeks passed, I learned how to properly write an HTML file and put my skills to work by participating in the numerous tasks that were assigned to us.        ...

February 14 is a national holiday in most first-world countries. Valentine's Day has evolved into a day dedicated to lovers. Valentine's Day, on the other hand, has a much wider appeal.                As a Filipino, it is part of our culture and tradition to celebrate feasts and festivals. We have so many different festivals all over the country, in and region where different things have been seen and experienced. In the Philippines, most festivals are of religious origin, but today the religious aspect is typically secondary to the general spirit of celebration. Filipino hospitality is legendary, and it is not more apparent at any time than at the festival time.             A festival was conceived by the provincial government of Ilocos Sur that will highlight cultures and traditions and also attract local and international tourists.
