ICT: Fourth Quarter

Image
It's more concentrated on FrontPage and blogs in the fourth quarter. It wasn't too difficult, but I'm interested in learning how to use FrontPage to develop websites. Because I couldn't use FrontPage, it was difficult for me to visualize the procedure.            Even though I am in the last quarter, I still find it difficult to reconcile my studies and social activities, which is why I occasionally cram in my module. However, I am making every effort to stay on track.              Moving forward, I will continue to study and learn as the school year continues. I'll take what I've learnt and put it to use in future lessons. To achieve my aims and ambitions, I will continue to work hard and study hard. Even though the pandemic has prevented me from fully enjoying this quarter and school year, I will make every attempt to complete and finish my education. References: https://...

Ecosystem Restoration of the World Environment Day 2021

Image
This year's theme for World Environment Day 2021 is "Ecosystem Restoration," with the focus on Reimagine, Recreate, and Restore.           This theme emphasizes the need of rehabilitating our environment and restoring our ecosystem to its original state. The United Nations has already set aside this decade (2021-2030) for the preservation of our ecosystem for this purpose. Our forests plants are on the verge of extinction due to urbanization, industrialization, and a variety of other human acts. According to a United Nations estimate, we are losing about 4.7 million hectares of forest per year (an area greater than Denmark).           Our ecosystem is in charge of restoring the life cycle, but pollution and industrial waste have severely harmed it. As a result, the theme for this year encourages us to restore our ecosystem before it is too late. We must resolve that no additional h...

12th of June: The Commemoration of Philippine Independence

Image
Every June 12th, the Philippines celebrates its independence. Emilio Aguinaldo hoisted the Philippine flag for the first time and declared independence in Kawit, Cavite, after hundreds of years under Spanish rule. The Filipino people need to commemorate this day because it marks the beginning of the country's freedom from hundreds of years of colonization.           Our freedom is precious after centuries of being colonized by various nations. Independence Day is more than simply a celebration for Filipinos; it is a day when we honor the bravery and sacrifices of warriors and heroes who battled for our homeland. Their courage in the face of colonizers, as well as their determination to freeing the country, should be remembered by today and future generations. It is critical not just to commemorate this occasion, but also to remember its significance for the Philippines. Many Filipinos contributed their talent...

Binatbatan Festival 2021

Image
"Binatbatan" is the process of beating cotton pods to remove the seeds for Abel weaving. Which locals interpreted into an occupational dance with the use of two sticks called "batbat". Binabatan street dance is one of the main attractions during the week-long celebrations.           The Binatbatan Festival has always been a continuous celebration with varied events that draw a large number of tourists and residents. The event celebrates the culture and gives a lot of energy to the city, as well as the province as a whole. Last year, however, the traditional celebration was hampered by the quickly spreading epidemic. Due to the possibility of the virus spreading among the people, events were canceled and the celebration was diluted. In the middle of the pandemic, the Binatbatan Festival is celebrating its second year. Various efforts were taken to ensure the festival's success. Online streaming services like Facebook a...

Our “Ilaw ng Tahanan”

Image
A mother is everyone's best friend since she provides for all of our needs. As a result, a day of the year has been dedicated to the mother and honored as Mother's Day every year to express gratitude and appreciation. Without our mothers and their nurturing affection, we would perish. She loves us so much that she gets happy when we laugh and sad when we cry. She is the only person in the world who never abandons us. She is completely committed to us, as she is to no one else in the world.           To be a mother is not a simple duty; it is a serious matter that takes all of your power and completely affects you, physically, emotionally, and mentally, because you are all responsible for how your child develops and learns in the future, together with the father. Mothers are typically in charge of establishing morality and proper behavior in their children. They're the ones who'd be willing to help you.  ...

Women and Power: Overcoming Barriers to Leadership and Influence

Image
The words "women empowerment" are made up of two words: "women" and "empowerment." Giving someone power or authority is referred to as empowerment. Women's empowerment refers to giving women the power to make decisions for themselves. It means that women should have equal opportunities in all fields without discrimination.           Women have endured a great deal over the years. They were seen as if they didn't exist in previous ages. Almost all rights, including the ability to vote, belonged to men. However, as time passed by, women became more aware of their power and agency. The revolution for women's empowerment began there. Women's empowerment came as a breath of fresh air as they were restricted to make decisions for themselves before. This helped women to get to know more about their rights and how they must forge their path in society.           “Women hold up half the sky,” ...
